Friday, Makayla and I drove out to Arizona. The drive was good, we only stopped twice. We got to my cousins around 5pm. I had called my friend Lindsay the night before to do dinner and she invited me to a show she was working, turns out it was the Anarbor show that we were thinking about going to if we had time. Well we did, so we went and Lindsay got us in for free, so that was sweet.

The place where the show was held was a church, it was huge but really nice and def. a great place to have shows. It was good seeing Justin(merch/tour manager of anarbor) and greg(drummer of anarbor) again. I hadnt seen them since mid june when they were on tour with eye alaska.

Anarbor (pictured) was awesome live as usual.

Thursday night I went over to Rick's and Tracy's to watch the kids for about 45 minutes because rick had to leave and tracy was not home yet. I helped Ruthie with the last bit of homework(pictured) she had and then joel, ruthie and myself had pizza for dinner and watched some disney channel.

Later on I met up with Diana and we went to the venus infers show at the grove of anaheim. It was pretty fun and good to see those guys again.

Wednesday was such an awesome day! Diana and I went out to Los Angeles after classes because I wanted to see if anywhere had the KERRANG uk magazine! We found a place but they are a week behind because they have to get shipped here, so it looks like we will be back out to la next week for the issue I want.

Afterwards, we headed to the beverly center to hang out. We saw our friend Beau's twitter update that said he was there too and then BAM! there he was. It was really good seeing him and hearing about his south america band adventures =)

Later we headed to baja fresh off hollywood blvd to eat and do homework before the show the knitting factory. We realized that the ALL ABOUT STEVE movie premiere was about to happen soon. Diana flipped out because bradley cooper(the hangover) was in the movie so when she saw him out the window arrive she went outside! It was funny to see her fan girl. The picture for today is of bradley.

After feeling weird around people who wanted to touch bradley, take pictures etc we headed over to watch Emerald Honor play at the knitting factory.

Tuesday, second day of classes- rock music history/appreciation and intro to cinema. Celeste decided to sit in on my rock music history class and was thinking about adding it(she didnt). I took a picture of everyone before class started with my phone, haha.

Monday, first day of classes- Journalism and Math. I ended up dropping math, it was a joke, seriously a 4-6 page paper!?

Parking was crazy(the picture is of one of the lots) but thats normal. People are lazy and dont like to walk far.

I ended up going with Dawn(my brothers wifes sister, if you didnt know that) to Kim and Kevins house all day saturday. Later on, Dawn and I went to the movies to see THE TIME TRAVELERS WIFE. It was a pretty good movie, a little slow for me but still good. I forgot my camera at home so I dont have a picture for today so I just snagged the movie poster ha.

Friday, I spent the afternoon with tracy. When ruthie got home from school we went to this place tray volunteers at. Its pretty cool, its a store that sells used kids clothes etc. The picture is of ruthie and this huge stuff snake that was in the store.

Thursday, I said bye to my good friend Liz. She is moving to nashville for the next 6 months. CRAZY. I will miss her a lot. She is one of the first people that really understands my love for music.

Later in the day, I met up with my friend stephanie and diana. It was so good seeing stephanie, she is a pretty rad person and I hadnt seen her in such a long time. My picture for today is of my moms steering wheel to her car. My car has been in the shop so I had to use hers to go hang with stephanie. I cant wait to get my car back.

Tuesday night I ended up at chain with Diana. We just kind of hung around outside with people. We talked to jeff for a bit, said hi to jp,ross and joel of confide before the show started. We then went to alberts tacos in buena park because we were so hungry. Their food is sooooo good.

After we got back to chain it was funny because jeff said something to us(i dont remember exactly what) but we told him we werent going in because we had no money but we were there just to say hi and stuff. Anyway right before they went on Andy was like "why are you guys out here?go inside".

FREE SHOW!(i hate asking andy, i have never asked, he has offered)

It was different without billy on bass and joel singing certain parts of the songs. To be honest Im not sure if I like it but overall the show was pretty fun.

Monday, Diana and I met up with Michael and we went to orange. Diana was taking shots of michael for his portfolio I guess. This shot she took of us. I look mad, I prob was mad at michael, he wouldnt go take the picture that i wanted him to take. It was such a rad photo idea.Oh well.

Eye Alaska had a headline show at chain. It was so great. Verbs came out for the song Show Me Daluv and when they played Walk Like A Gentleman Colin from A Cursive Memory came out and sang with the guys(pictured). I took this picture from amanda. haha

Today, I spent all afternoon reading Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell. I got the book my senior year of high school, started it but never finished it. It was a pretty good book, Rob had some good points but I think I like Don Miller author of Blue Like Jazz way better.

Tuesday the new Thrice album "Beggars" was released on itunes. I of course bought it, they're my favorite band. It sucks that their album was leaked a few months before it was out but they have done a good job with releasing it digitally and hardcopy. The hardcopy release is out in september and I cant wait, it has five extra songs =)

Monday I took my car in to get fixed from when my dad got in an accident a few weeks before. I didnt do much all day since I didnt have a car. I guess i could have cleaned my messy room (pictured) but I didnt.

Saturday, Makayla,Amanda, Diana and I drove out to Arizona to see Eye Alaska! The picture is of us at my cousins getting ready in the bathroom! It was a pretty fun show and it was so good to see all the guys again! I missed them. Also we got to see Kara!

Dawn and I went to the OC fair for the afternoon/evening because she got tickets to see the Black Eyed Peas. It was a lot of fun. We ate, hung out, ate some more, looked around at the vendors selling stuff then went to the concert. I actually knew more songs then I thought I did. It was fun though. Thursday I went with Ruthie and Joel(pictured) swimming for a few hours. It was pretty fun. After, on the car drive to IN N OUT joel was coming up with commercial ideas(im not sure why) and he said "call 1 800 get fat", tracy and I were laughing so hard!

My ipod broke and I freaked out. It froze and I did everything you are supposed to do to reset it and it still wouldnt work. Later that night it started working again, weird but hey at least it works. Its due to break down soon though, I have had it for about five years or so now.

I'm glad Nate knows how to spell my name right and he knows exactly what I want at starbucks. I always get the same thing hot or cold.

Diana and I went up to Sherman Oaks to visit Nate at work. It sucks that I dont see him much anymore because his band is not together anymore. It was nice seeing him. He seems to be doing good just busy.

Afterwards we went to the knitting factory in los angeles to see Sleep For Sleepers and The Workday Release! They both were so good. Sleep for Sleepers blows me away every time I see them live. It was good seeing everyone: Jamey,Denise,Chris and David. Oh, and Jamey was cool and gave me their new tank top for free since I got him some new TOMS.

Rick and Tracy had their high school reunion to go to so I watched the kids again. We went to church then we made cupcakes at their house before bed. The picture is of ruthie icing the cupcakes and joel eating one over the sink.
