So here is the story behind these pictures. Gaby and I were trying to figure out what to do tonight, we watched some lame movie, listened to music and had many laughs as usual. We ended up going to rite aid for thrifty ice cream in a waffle cone! Yum right!? Well it turns out we have been ripped off, the lady told us its three scoops in a cone, so gaby of course got all excited, she got three scoops while i stuck with just two. The top picture is of her and her joyous moment.

Now here is the story behind the picture you see below this writing. We got in the car to head back to my house to enjoy the ice cream, Gaby rolls down the window as I am pulling out of the lot and I look at her and say " What are you crazy, its cold i am putting it back up!" she replies " i am trying to do something dont!". I of course let her do whatever she was trying to do. I start driving slowly(no one is behind us) and I look over and she is doing something with the cone and ice cream out the window. I finally realize that she thinks three scoops is too much and she is trying to get the top scoop off. As soon as I come to this realization, she says " OH NO!!!!" and I look and there is nothing in her cone. ALL her ice cream fell out and all she had left was the cone. I had to pull over because I was dying of laughter. This picture is of her laughing and being sad and shocked at the same time.

by the way if you know my family, my sister bonnie is special needs and will never be able to live a normal life like you and I. She over heard me telling my mom this story and came in after I went back to my room and asked what was so funny. My mom told her what happened and she replies " Even I am not that stupid"-hahaha

Wednesday was another long day. This picture is of a 1st grader by the name of Tyree. He came to daycare for abour an hour and a half today. I used to watch him in daycare every school day when he was in preschool but he doesn't come as much. He is such a cute kid and tall for his age(his father is really tall).

Tueday 02/24

I had to get to school by 730am and I didn't even have my math class until 945am. The only good thing about this was i was able to get to the library and get our math book(i haven't bought it yet) at the reserve desk and do the homework. After I finished I went back to my car for an hour and listened to music and watch traffic get worse and worse. This picture is of my parking permit and cars trying to find parking.

Sunday night I ended up going down with Diana to San Juan Capistrano to see our friends Venus Infers play. The Last time I saw these guys was September 08. They did great and their new songs sound really good! The picture above is of Davis, the singer. Also, this band called Tamarama played after Venus Infers. They big thing about this band was Jay because he is on this reality show on MTV. It was funny to see the girls that were there(it was a very small show) swoon all over him and take pictures with him after their set! The picture below is of Jay, his band was pretty good, different, chill but good.

At work today a few kids and I noticed a upside down rainbow in the sky. It was really pretty but we thought it to be a little odd since there had been no rain and it was a pretty clear day with a few clouds in the sky. This picture was taken with my phone because I left my camera at home but you can see the rainbow right above the tree!

Tuesday, at the Innerpartysystem show, I asked the drummer if I could have a drum stick, he gave me one he played with =)

Tuesday was filled with rain, sun and more rain. Gaby text me about innerpartysystem that afternoon and how she really wanted to go to their show at soma in san diego. I caved and we went. it was a long drive, but worth it. My photos are from the show, i couldnt just pick one, these three were my favorite from the night. the band was really good live, im glad gaby talked me into it.

Sunday- wow, it was such a busy fun filled day.

9am- wake up
11am- harvey's to get dawn's new purse
12pm- movies @ the block
2:45pm- lunch corner bakery- SUCH GOOD FOOD
4pm- Sprinkles cupcakes
5pm- target, yes for 3 Vneck tees =)
6pm- Interviewed VALENCIA @ Chain
8:20pm- Artist Vs Poet -not too bad live
10pm- Valencia live... pretty good

Saturday was such a good day, way to many funny moments with Gaby-such a great friend. I didn't babysit as planned so I decided to hit up chain and check out WE SHOT THE MOON. Overall the band was alright but the lead singer was so good, his vocals are sooooooooo good. I am glad I went.

Oh, I watched Ghost Rider with Dawn and her bf because I went to her place after chain to spend the night. That movie is weird.

We got hit with more rain friday but it started to clear up towards the evening. I didnt do much, I slept a lot! I was tired from the crazy week of school, work and babysitting.

Oh, I did go see HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU with tracy and gaby friday night, pretty good movie.

This picture I took right before work on thursday. I was pretty tired because I had my bio anthropology final that morning and had stayed up real late studying.
After work, I went to amanda and brians to visit before babysitting. I got to Mya and Trentons house around 8pm but only their mom was there getting ready to go out. The kids got home around 845 or so. It was pretty easy, we played video games most of the time and their bed time was 11pm. I left about 2am when their mom got back. I got paid a good amount which is in a drawer , it will be money that goes to getting a new camera. =)

Wednesday, I went to work and I took the older kids(4th-8th) up to the basketball courts to play a game. Well this picture if of Derek, he is in the fourth grade. I took this mainly to send to my mom because he was wearing a shirt on his head. I guess he got hot and took the shirt off(it was his under shirt). It was very funny to me because it reminded me of my younger brother danny- he used to do that all the time.

Monday, it rained a whole lot. I really like the rain and the cold. Chris and I got to finally hang out for a bit. Gaby and I met up with him at the mall and then we went to THE MIX BOWL for a later dinner(well more them then me). It was nice seeing chris again, we dont live far from each other but we seem to always be busy. Also he is one of few I still talk to from high school. He is like a brother to me.

Amanda and I drove out to Pasadena to see Confide play at a church. On the way out there we saw two huge lightning bolts light up the sky! It was a pretty good evening, my friend Kevins band was also playing this show so i got to talk to him for a while and check out his band-pretty good. Confide was so good, seriously live they are great and the crowd was just nuts again.This picture amanda too- it was dark so it was hard to get good photos. Billy is in the purple shirt(bass) and Ross(vocals) is in the green shirt. Ross was making fun of billys puffy cheeks(just had wisdom teeth pulled not to long before the show)

Circa Survive Part One at Chain Reaction. All I have to say is that this band is so good live. Anthony green is awesome and def has the best dance moves- such a intense show.

So not much today but class and work again. This stacking Jigsaw thing is pretty big with some of the little kids at my work, some of them will sit there trying to figure this out and keep trying until they do. Its pretty cool because you can put it together in a few different ways and the kids just love it for some reason.

Slept from 3am-11am, then was up till about 2pm, went back to sleep till 5pm. The studied from about 7pm till 3am for a test the next morning. that was my day.

(I slept a lot because i didnt get home till 230am and the night before i got home around the same time but woke up hella early)

This weekend was filled with new people,new music and fun. Liz and I befriended a band by the name of Abandon Kansas. This picture was taken when Liz was helping Brian load his drums(as i know nothing about drums haha).
