Wednesday, I didnt do much but hang at home with Gaby and Angelica. I took a picture of my dinner, Mac & Cheese. It was so yummy, considering I hadnt really eaten much since saturday evening.

Tuesday, I still wasnt feeling good and just wanted to get home. We drove all the way from New Mexico back home. It was about a 12 hour drive back.

Diana took this photo of Enter Shikari's last night of tour with August Burns Red and Blessthefall. She got a photo pass so we were in the photo pit for their set. The crowd was alright but they guys still did such a good job. After, we were on stage for Blessthefall's set. They killed it again!

I finally was able to get the Enter Shikari interview done. It was pretty fun. Also, I got to interview Beau of blessthefall, that was fun because he is a friend of mine.

It sucked saying bye to everyone especially to rory and chris of enter shikari. =/

Sunday, Diana and I drove out to Paradise Valley, Arizona(near phoenix). We stayed at my cousins and we made cupcakes for Blessthefall and Enter Shikari.(pictured) When we got to the venue later in the evening we couldnt get a hold of Keith for the Enter Shikari interview but we found noddy their drummer and gave him the cupcakes and he got keith for us. The interview had to be pushed back after their set.

We stood in the will call line for over an hour and missed Enter Shikari's set. It was really dumb. The security checked everything and took way too long, we barely made it in to see our friends blessthefall. The enter shikari interview again had to be pushed back to the show in new mexico the next day but rory, diana and i got to talk for a while. He said they all really loved our cupcakes =).

Saturday was day two of Enter Shikari and Blessthefall at the glasshouse. I got in line early so I could get front. Enter Shikari's set was so good again. They really have a great live set, I think that is what makes me like them so much. Yet again, I snagged their set list and got it signed(pictured). Later in the evening, I talked to Rory and he told me to talk to Keith about getting an interview(we got one for the next day in Arizona).

Friday was finally here. I think I was more stoked to Enter Shikari then Blessthefall, probably because I have seen blessthefall many times and will have more chances then I would with Enter Shikari. Diana and I got ourselves to the front. Enter Shikari's set was amazing as usually. The crowd was crazy and after Chris(bassist) gave me the set list! WOOO.

After blessthefalls set, which was pretty awesome too, we went to the merch area and the guys from Enter Shikari were hanging out. I got the set list signed and talked to a few of them. Rory is def. my favorite. He is so nice.(pictured)

Thursday night was a blast. Gaby, Christa and I went to to the Angels game. We always go when Christa is back in town and it is always so much fun. It's great to know that I have friends like them and that we will always be there for each other.

Today, I didnt do much either. Gaby and I went to Pei Wei for lunch then to walmart to get her a suitcase set for when she moves in august. Later in the evening we went to Brian and Amanda's for dinner and it was yummy! Amanda cooks so good. It is always nice to see them, they too have had an impact on my life and I love seeing them whenever possible.

When I got home I looked over the classes I am thinking about signing up for thursday morning(that is what I took a picture of).

This is Jeremy, the singer of Abandon Kansas. They played chain reaction tuesday night. This was such a good night. Jamey, chris , denise, liz, ben, gaby and a few other people I knew were there. I dont think Jamey knows how much he has effected my life lately. He has me thinking about a lot(about that later). The set of bands that night were all screamo/hardcore i think but abandon kansas opened. Gaby really liked them live and thought Brad's dance moves were awesome!

Afterwards, we all just hung out outside of chain talking. After the show was over we headed over to this mexican food place and all hung out. Gaby even taught Brad some new dance moves.=)

Nights like this are awesome. I am really lucky to know these people and have them be part of my life even if its in a small way.

Monday I didnt do much but hangout with Gaby. We watched some season one of Gilmore Girls, that show never gets old.

Day two of Abandon Kansas, need I say more? This band is amazing. They are def. one of my favorite bands that I will support no matter what. They played in Ontario! I was stoked on that, the venue was about 5 minutes away.

The venue was so hot because there was no air conditioning but I handled it fine! The guys did a good job considering the horrible heat they faced up there. As they were setting up Jeremy asked me if there was a song that they didnt play the night before that I wanted them to play tonight, I said no, thats too hard I love all their songs. =)

Saturday, Amanda went with me to see my friends Abandon Kansas and the band The Workday Release. I was so excited to see the guys from AK again. They are so awesome. When we got there I saw my friend Jamey, its always nice seeing him.

The Workdays Release set was pretty good, as said once before I see a lot of potential in them. After them another band went on but we waited outside where it was cooler. It was funny because as we were just sitting there talking the band inside was covering a thrice song, I dont think I have ever heard a band cover thrice, it was pretty funny!

Abandon Kansas was last to go up. Jeremy was loosing his voice but he still sounded great. Brad and his dance moves(pictured) always make me laugh, they are so awesome. They played a few new songs off their new cd coming out in september, so great.

Friday, Amanda went with me to San Diego to see THE WORKDAY RELEASE. It was at a church at the end of a culdesac and then we didnt even see a van parked in the lot. We found out that the guys van got towed for some reason so they were running late. We decided to hit up 7-11 for a snack and by the time we finished we caught the second half of the bands set. They were pretty good. I see a lot of potential in this band and I think they could do really well for themselves.

Afterwards, we drove back and got In-N-Out near her house off Avery Pkway. Then we drove around Avery trying to find a lit enough street so we can take a picture with the sign haha. (we know a band name after the street)

Wednesday, David from THE WORKDAY RELEASE brought over tickets for his show this saturday(07/18/09). they were a few bucks cheaper if I bought them from him. I have been waiting for this show for so long it seems because ABANDON KANSAS is playing. They are such an amazing band, I seriously am so stoked for this show! I met them back in january, there is a post on them in my blog.

Monday I had jury duty for the third day but I finally got dismissed from the case. YES! When I got home I got my birthday present in the mail. My mom finally bought me a CHI flat iron! I was so stoked because ever since a good flat iron of mine broke a few years ago I havent found one I liked since and the CHI ones are the best!

Sunday Amanda and I went to the Copeland / Anchor& Braille show at the House Of Blues- Anaheim. During the Anchor & Braille set these three girls behind us talked as loud as they could, it was so annoying and hard to focus on the bands set. Stephen has such an amazing voice and they played the same set as they did the night before at the hotel cafe!

Afterwards we went by merch to wait because I was determined to get Stephens book signed that I got at the show the night before. When he came out Amanda and I totally geeked out over him. He seriously is so great. At house of blues you arent allowed to bring in camera's(dumb rule I think) so we used my camera on my phone to take a picture with him so thats why the picture for today is not that great.

Saturday, Celeste and I went to Santa Monica for the TOMS shoes sample sale. It was crazy there but it was half off so it was worth waiting in line! Afterwards, we roamed around hollywood blvd until the Copeland and Anchor & Braille show!

Anchor & Braille is Stephen Christian(singer of Anberlin) side project. It was funny because he blogged talking about how he was excited for this tour and that most people wont know the songs since he hasnt really released the music(full length album coming in august). I knew 3 of the 5 songs he played, pretty awesome. The picture is of stephen!

Friday was a very fun day. I drove down to Mission Viejo to Diana's house. We then went to Dana Point to hang with kara before she had work. Kara is a pretty chill person so it was fun just sitting there and talk about anything and everything. Afterwards we went back to Dianas and I showed her how to make cupcakes(pictured)! I couldnt believe this was her first time making them! We made them for the boys of Sleep for Sleepers.

The show was long but fun. The best part of the night was at the end when we played rock paper scissors with jamey and we all did "fire" and all knew it was from a FRIENDS episode!

Thursday I went back for jury duty then went over to ricks house with gaby to watch joel for about an hour. Afterwards Gaby, Billy and I went down to newport beach so I could trade the last set of no doubt tickets for blink tickets(pictured). I am excited to check out Blink in september!

Wednesday was my 21st birthday and I had jury duty. what luck! I had to go in from 1 to 4 or something like that. The picture is of everyone waiting during the ten minute break.

My birthday over all was alright. I am not a fan of celebrating birthdays, weird I know. I guess i dont like the attention all on me. I went to dinner with tracy, rick, the kids,celeste,kate and angelica. It was pretty fun. After kate and I went to my friend kevins to check out his band acoustic and their music video. It was pretty awesome!

Tuesday July 7th was finally here! If you know me well you know why this day was so exciting and such a long wait.My friends in Eye Alaska released their debut Full Length GENESIS UNDERGROUND off fearless records. My mom was cool and gave me money to go buy it! If you are looking for refreshing music that doesnt sound like everything else check this band out if you haven't already, they are all so talented.

Sunday night I met up with Diana and we went to see Confide play in canoga park at the cobalt. It seemed like it took forever to get there.

We got to see our friends steve and jason! They are pretty rad and steve thought Confide was pretty good live too=).

After the show, Diana, Amanda and I went with the guys of Confide and a bunch of others to In-N-Out!I am sure the workers there hated us because the line was sooo long haha.

Saturday was 4th of July. I am really not a big fan of this day, I hate the sound of fire works, I dont know why but I just cant take it. My dad made some good food and we celebrated Bevs birthday since it was the day before. Diana came and ate over too! Later in the night Diana and I bolted out the door because we decided we wanted to see confide!

It was so good seeing confide again, i think the last time i saw them was in april. They are such a good live band! It was nice talking to Joel and Billy after too! The picture is of Jeff! I liked how his hair looked all crazy haha.

Today, I drove with my mom up to Apple Valley, its a good hour or so north of us. It seemed like it took us forever for some reason. We went to pick up something she wanted and was going to get for my sister Bonnie. It was a good ride, I always like car rides with my mom even if I do get annoyed because I am tired.

Yesterday, I ended up going with Diana to Los Angeles but before that we made a stop in San Dimas to see my friend Kevin! I was so excited to see him, its been a few months since I saw him last and he is such an awesome person.

When we got to la Diana found her friend that was playing and we found out they were playing ON THE ROX which is upstairs of the roxy and that it was a 21+ show. We were super bummed but then the lady at the door figured it all out and was able to let us in to see A BIRD A SPARROW. The show was pretty good, it would have been even more awesome if the sound system was good haha.
