Today, I went up to see liz since she is in town for the holiday from nashville. I had sushi for the first time, it was weird and my stomach told me later that it did not like it. haha.

The night before, rick brought over some left over shrimp from the holiday party that him and tracy went to. They always bring the leftovers. It was sooo good, as usual!

Monday,Gaby and I went to Walmart to try to exchange something I got for christmas. Afterwards, we went to Corky's in rancho for some breakfast! so good.

Oh, and I saw Anthony Green and Good Old War in the evening at the glass house. great performances, crappy crowd.

Sunday night Gaby and I went to the mall to see if angelica was working, when we walked in this is what I saw in the window of an empty store. I guess Upland Christian Academy is advertising at the mall. HAHAHA.

for those who dont know, Upland Christian was bought out by Western Christian so they were forced to make a new school at a new location.

Tuesday, I had lunch with Brenda and Diana. We went to albertaco's near buena park. It was sooooo good!!

When I got home it was really windy! We dont get wind in my part of town all that much, so when we do it is kind of crazy. I took the picture with my phone because I didnt have my camera on me at the time. Part of some tree fell in front of this persons house due to the wind!

Monday, I went to Hollywood with my friend Melody. It was a lot of fun, we went to Ameoba Records and I got another Thrice Vinyl!

Afterwards, we went back to Mel's place to watch the movie 300. I was not all that impressed like everyone else was. Then I met up with diana, while waiting for her I took this picture of the sky from my rear view mirror. I think it looks pretty cool!

My friend Celeste came over. She had made a MAX costume for halloween (where the wild things are). It was a pretty sick costume! Saturday night my dad and I(well mostly my dad haha) made some cookies for a cookie party I was going to the next day with dawn. The cookies have to stay in the oven(turned off, but you turn it on while your making them! weird, I know) for 8 hours so that is why we made them the night before.

Sunday, Diana and I drove out to The Camp in costa mesa. Vanguard UNI was having a small global awareness fair with nonprofit/fair trade business'. It was pretty cool. The picture is of the stairs near one of the stores at The Camp. It was pretty rad.

Thursday night, I met up with Dessa and we went to the Gypsy Lounge in Lake Forest. The New Limb has residency there for the month of Decemeber. That means they play every thursday for the month. The whole set of bands playing this thursday night we rad and we were both so excited. It was great to catch up with some old friends and make a few new ones.

Wednesday, I made it just in time to catch THE RIGHT COAST at chain reaction. I had to babysit earlier in the evening in fullerton. It was a great show and the guys were really nice!

I went to Dawn's on saturday. We went to the Irvine Spectrum for lunch and walked around for a bit. We went to pacsun because I had heard a decal of Cam (my friend from a band called Eye Alaska) was on the front window. It was pretty funny to see it in person.

Tuesday I got to see my favorite band at House Of Blues- Anaheim. Direct support for Thrice was a band called Dear Hunter, they were so good live. I really think more people need to hear them, they are so talented.

Thrice's set was pretty amazing. They have a big catalogue of songs but they really know how to mix it up! Every show I have been to of theirs, I have never walked away in disappointment.

Sunday night, after church, Diana and I drove out to Hollywood to check out a band called Mata Leon. They used to be called Overview. They are pretty rad. It was great seeing them live again, it has been a long time since ive seen them. Also, Andrew and Adam(brave citizens) were there! It was funny watching Adam groove to the music haha.
